On the heels of Freeman Jewelers Estate Sale in August of 2007, our 3 day buying event turned out to be a huge success. As Gold reached an all time high price, climbing over $1,000 for the first time ever, more than 400 customers were happy to cash in old scrap gold and silverware for cash. And their were a few 'gems in the rough', pun intended, as we found a few vintage, antique jewelry items that may just find their way back to our showcases during our second annual Estate Jewelry Event on Friday August 29th, 2008!
Our host company spent hours hunting for beautiful early 19th and 20th century, quality Swiss made watch, collector coins and silverware and scrap gold and silver. Anthony and Richard were not only extremely talented and knowledgeable with regards to dating antique jewelry, they were both wonderful people! Unfortunately these two ran out of time to visit with all of our customers due to overwhelming demand and for that we apologize.
Because demand was so high and the Fort Wayne community appreciated Freeman Jewelers hosting an event with such an upstanding company, we have decided we will host another event in the near future.
